Remote Window

The Remote window is where you can manually operate the lamps and appliances selected in the Installed Hardware window.

To use the remote control:

  1. In the Installed Hardware window, select the devices you want to operate.
  2. Choose Remote from Thinking Home’s Window menu.
  3. Press the On, Off, Dim and Brighten buttons as desired.

The buttons will be enabled according to the features supported by all of the selected devices. For example, “Dim” will not be offered for an appliance module. Buttons will only be enabled if there is a controller installed that can send the request to the device.
